Hi everyone! Happy midsummer!
So I’m slowly establishing my online store – I’ve chosen to do it through Etsy, a popular venue for handmade artsy crafty types! I’m working on postings for pin packages, screenprints, giclee prints, handmade woodblock printed sachets stuffed with organic herbs, and all that good stuff! I also like to make books – I have a particular penchant for simple, single-signature books perfect for sketching, notes, and generally being on-the-go and wanting to write stuff down. These are 8×5 inches, and are really lightweight and durable.
The covers are made from recycled cotton paper – so when they get wet, they’ll dry and be good as new! Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the interior pages, but the cover protection really is rad. (At least that’s what my mum tells me!)
So! Check out my shop! It’s small but mighty!

Awesome Rooftop Brewery Container Garden | greenUPGRADER
“The Brooklyn brewery Sixpoint Craft Ales features damaged kegs and reclaimed bathtubs full of edibles like eggplants, strawberries, leafy greens, corn, potatoes, and melons. But they go beyond growing their own. The brewery has a rainwater catchment setup and also keeps chickens.”
I would eat here everyday if I could.I bet the food is amazing.

This guy is amazing - he’s from France (as far as I’m aware), currently lives in Bali. Designer/illustrator/awesome dude extraordinaire. Was kind enough to send me some amazing and inspirational tips on how to be a haus.
It’s no secret that flora, fauna, and indigenous cultures are among my inspirations, and I love the way Mega’s woven these things together. The linework, colours, and composition are breathtaking and the typography makes for a really tight image overall. +Love.

vegansaurus!: Guest post: Food accessibility is a vegan issue

I was sitting at my desk, staring at my coffee, when my co-worker walked in with a bag of cherries and said, “God, organic fruit at the farmers’ market is fucking expensive.”
At least we have a farmers’ market nearby selling local, organic fruit and vegetables, I thought, and my co-worker has the…

This is amazing. Got 10x more amazing when I realized it was an embroidery, not a painting.
